My name is Paul Cronin and I welcome you to our St Mary’s School website.
Our school is a single stream co-educational Catholic School servicing Bunbury and the surrounding suburbs. We have a current enrolment of 250 students from 3-Year-Old to Year 6.
St Mary’s has a culture of continuous improvement based on the principles of shared decision making and team-work. As a community of learners, we are committed to working together to guide and support each of the students in our care to reaching the highest levels of development of the mind, heart, body and spirit. This is achieved by building a safe, inclusive and secure learning environment in which all children can develop a sense of belonging and wellbeing.
We are guided by the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic Church. We strive to foster development of the whole child, integrated faith, life and culture. We acknowledge and promote the importance of leading a life of faith. The model of education offered at St Mary’s is founded on Gospel values and encourages students to aspire to our motto of: Respect, Faith and Courage.
As Principal of St Mary’s, I am immensely proud of our people, our programs and our continual progress. I believe that it is a combination of the people in our community; parents, friends and staff that make a difference in the educational outcomes of our students.
Students, staff, parents and community members are encouraged to participate in all aspects of school life and in the decisions of the school. Parents are valued as true partners in the education of their children, contributing their initiative, energy, time and expertise to the school.
